Development of the
Malian Foundation
The Malian Foundation was formally established during
January 2004 and began offering the Empowering Communities
Program to Australian charitable causes. The scope of the
Empowering Communities Program was extended to charitable
causes worldwide during March 2004 after the Foundation took
into account the numerous requests received. The Consulting
Services Program was created during November 2004 after a
pattern of specialized requests emerged which could not be
satisfied by a ‘one size fits all’ set of products.
